SIMAP   Simulation modelling of the MAP kinase pathway

The objective of SIMAP is to develop a comprehensive simulation of a biochemical model of the EGFR-MAP kinase pathway in connection to clinical phenotype.
SIMAP will rely on the OMICS revolution by combining mechanistic modelling of cancer related pathway behaviour, accompanied by new mining techniques and integrated with clinical data. Use of the SIMAP simulation will allow drastic decrease of costs or timescales of treatments and support better patient cancer treatment and diagnosis.

SIMAP Partners
The three year SIMAP project is funded by the European Commission under the FP6 - Information Society Technology Program and consists of 9 partners.
